Capcom’s Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure, which has critics raving elsewhere in the world, was due to arrive in Australia on December 13, but Nintendo Australia, who’s handling its distribution, has confirmed today that the game’s been delayed until early 2008.
The decision was made by Capcom, Nintendo said, and while no details were divulged, the company insisted that it’s a positive move, ensuring that the great game won’t get lost in the flood of games that’s being unleashed during the lead-up to Christmas.

Nintendo Australia also confirmed that a handful of its other Wii games will also dodge the end-of-year line-up to be released in 2008. That includes Batallion Wars 2, Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast, Endless Ocean, and expectedly, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

I knew this was coming. Only a matter of when.
