Wii is now officially the fastest selling console to reach 200,000 units, just 50 weeks since Wii launched. This figure includes all consoles, including hand held units.
A hugely impressive feat. By comparison, it took the PS2 (previous record holder) 55 weeks to get to that figure. Nintendo is the best!
Nintendo also said in October that Wii had achieved sales of 167,899, and before that, the company announced in June that Wii was the fastest-selling console to reach the 100,000 mark. The records just continue to be broken!
