In another story also out of the latest Famitsu magazine, Nintendo have revealed Band Brothers DX, the sequel to the DS original Band Brothers (aka Jam with the Band), which was sadly a Japanese release only.

The sequel will feature over 30 new tracks chosen from J-pop and Classical with the ability to download any of the 100 more to choose from.

The game will feature an assortment of over 50 instruments to play, with the NES being included as an instrument.

The game will feature an extensive multiplayer with up to 6 players able to “jam” over local WiFi. The game includes a singing mode with karaoke for all songs (including download content).

The title is set for release on the 26th of May this year. No word yet on a western release.
