Finally, Australian gamers can rest easy knowing that the Wii-exclusive MadWorld is definitely being released in Australia. Developed by Platinum Games and distributed by SEGA, MadWorld is an ultra-violent and artistic game that Aussie gamers suspected would be refused classification by the OFLC, but as it turns out, this isn’t the case.
MadWorld is rated MA15+ for Strong bloody violence and strong coarse language. It is scheduled for a March release.

And if Michael Atkinson does not realize that his opinions are letting people under the age of 18 but over the age of 15 are able to play this Strong Bloody Violent game then it is his own fault.
If he is offended, then it is his own fault if he plays it on the Wii.
And if he can’t understand why we as Australians need an R18+ rating for videogames, then he may as well give up his position as Attorney General.
As for us Aussie Adult Nintendo Gamers, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that a bloody good game is coming to our shores and know that we don’t have to try and get it from the UK.
Agreed, TT. This seems like a really good run. Two games that were more than likely going to be banned in Oz if not modified, sneak through unchanged with an MA15+ rating.
