kh-2Unless you’ve been avidly reading Famitsu Weekly (prerequisite: can understand Japanese), you may not be aware that Final Fantasy’s character designer, Tetsuya Nomura, made a few interesting statements in an interview regarding the latest in the Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the DS.

Nomura: “I’m very excited in the direction these titles are moving in. Next week, we plan on making a special announcement regarding the Kingdom Hearts series – please look forward to it.”

What could this mean? A spin-off? A remake? Kingdom Hearts 3? We’ll have to wait for next week…
