To celebrate the launch of the Nintendo DSi in Australia, for the next seven days (from April 3 to April 10) you can get your hands on a very special Nintendo DSi item in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City.
If you have your Wii connected to the Internet, you’re already half way to receiving your Nintendo DSi item. Read the tutorial inside to find out how you can ensure this exclusive gift makes it to your mailbox.
Obtaining the Special Items
In order to receive letters from Nintendo with special items attached, you need a Wii console connected to the internet, with WiiConnect24 turned on (found in Wii Settings).
You also need to ensure that the WiiConnect24 settings in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City allow communication with other users. (by talking to Rover on the telephone from your room)
Nintendo advises there may be some delays with the sending of the letters containing the item, but if you’ve got your Wii and game all set up, you’ll receive your very own DSi chair!
