According to figures released by the NPD Group, who track video game and console sales in the United States, more Nintendo DS and DSi systems were sold in the month of June than all current-generation home consoles.
More than 766,000 DS/DSi handhelds were sold in June. In contrast the Wii shifted only 342,000 units, but also scored its 21st consecutive month as the top-selling home console in the U.S.
