Goichi Suda has revealed that the second No More Heroes game (entitled No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle) is likely to be the last game in the franchise developed for the Wii.
During an interview with Edge Online, Suda stated that he hopes to develop No More Heroes into a larger franchise, and to do that he will need to develop future NMH games for different systems.
“Wii is a great platform,” Suda said, “but we’ve done everything we can with it now.”
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is expected to release next year.

I’m both disappointed and excited by this announcement, I’m just hoping the other systems aren’t handhelds.
Everyone knows that the first NMH was plagued by aliasing and framerate issues, other systems would probably rectify this, as well as the overall presentation. Loss of the Wii’s unique control setup is definitely a downside; anyone know if Desperate Struggle will support full WM+ movement, or if it’ll use the same High/Low attack thing as the first?
