Disney Interactive Entertainment will be revealing a new Mickey Mouse game for Wii in October.
While we don’t have much info, members of the press have received word to save the date for a launch event that will reveal the a Mickey game. The teaser invitation says it will be the announcement of an “iconic new title,” but offers no more information.
All signs point to this being Junction Point Studios’ title, rumoured to be called ‘Epic Mickey’, and headed up by legendary game designer Warren Spector (from Deus Ex fame). Sources and leaks indicate that the title would have Disney’s mouse using paint to alter and navigate a world that (if concept art leaks are any indication of the final product) may have a steampunk vibe.
With this particular London-based reveal only a few weeks away, we hope to hear some fleshed-out details soon.
