The Alpha Pokémon, Arceus, is now available to anyone with a copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum thanks to a walk-in event being held at most K-Mart and EB Games stores Australia-wide.
To get Arceus, you will need to use the Mystery Gift function to download the Pokémon into your game before November 16th. So far, this is the only legit way for gamers in Australia to catch an Arceus, and works with all released versions of the game.

Naomi from GamingAngels.com has also kindly let us know that it’s worth noting that stores may not know that the event is happening. So make sure you are able to and know how to receive the Pokémon yourself.
No stores near me are running the promotion. Ah well, it’s to be expected.

Went and got Arceus today when I went and picked up NSMB Wii. Seems like a pretty awesome pkmn lvl 100 – woo!
