The rumours of a DS2 development kit aren’t rumours anymore. According to gaming website CVG, the kits are in the hands of select developers around Japan.

An employee at The Pokémon Company has informed the gaming website that they have indeed received the development kits.

The new machine, which is still in its early stages of development, apparently has a tilt function and a few other unique features.

The mystery man who gave CVG the information also mentioned how it was genuinely the best thing he had ever worked with.

When asked if the DS2 development kit was real, Nintendo said that they would not comment on rumour or speculation.
