THQ has announced the closure of Universomo studios.
The folks at Universomo were responsible for the mobile phone version of de Blob and had just completed their first ever non-mobile phone game, Beat City, for the Nintendo DS.
Beat City is apparently similar to Rhythm Heaven and will be released in April.
THQ says it will remain committed to mobile gaming, despite the closure of Universomo.
