It has been revealed that the fifth-generation of Pokémon games will be announced on the Japanese television program, Pokémon Sunday.

Last week’s episode of the show featured a preview clip at that end of it revealing that an exciting announcement would be made on this week’s show.  The episode will air this Sunday on the 11th of April.

It has also been reported that more information about the new generation Pokémon games will be revealed in the upcoming issue of the monthly Japanese manga magazine, Corocoro.
