In a surprise move, Nintendo has announced that a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is currently in development for the 3DS.
Originally, Nintendo planned on revealing the remake at a later date, but when a staff member from 1up uncovered images of the game on Nintendo’s E3 server, Nintendo quickly decided to announce the game themselves via their American Twitter account.
Judging by the screenshots, the remake is currently looking to be a pretty solid port of the original game with a visual overhaul.
