Welcome to the very first TNB podcast! The crew and I have decided to make this particular podcast an E3 2010 special and then from here onwards we will record a more regular Nintendo podcast on a monthly basis for the site.
In case you don’t already know, I’m Liam (kksl1der) and the other guys with me in this E3 2010 podcast are Ben (BB2K), Michael (punkgorilla) and Oliver (TwistedConspiracy).

Great work guys, that was loads of fun to listen to!
A few things I’d like to add:
I agree with those comments about how Reggie is ’such a man’. I’ve had a man-crush on him since I watched the presentation.
lol at the segue between Metroid and DKC, it was almost as good as Reggie’s segues at the press conference.
Whoever said that they were sceptical about the 3DS but the unveiling was amazing and they’re now buying it on launch (I think it was BB2K)- you summed up my feelings perfectly! I mean, I thought it would just be a lame gimmick and I wasn’t gonna buy one, but the day after watching the video I was in stores asking if I could pre-order it.
@ kksl1der- You’re not the only one who wants Pilotwings at launch. That and Kid Icarus are the two games I’m planning to pre-order with the console. Might get Star Fox as well if I have the money (they’ve now announced that it’s a remake of the SNES one, which is good for me coz I have the 64 one on Wii already).
Also, in case you’re still interested:
Twisted Metal is actually a lot like Mario Kart’s battle mode, as opposed to being a Destruction Derby clone. I know this because I’ve been playing the PSP one recently.
BB2K (?) was correct with the comments re: Killzone on PSP. It was a top-down cover-based shooter, not an RTS. And yes, it was really good, one of my fave PSP games of all time in fact.
Thanks for the feedback Mr_M! I’m actually really surprised to hear that Killzone PSP is a top down shooter. I’ve glanced at that game’s case a few times before in store and just assumed that it was an RTS. Guess I was wrong!
On another note, I’m picking up a PSP 3000 soon! So that means I’ll have to look into getting Killzone for it!
You should, it’s about $20 or less now.
On another note, NBA Jam actually started out as a hugely successful arcade game, and the SNES version was merely a port. Just thought you’d like to know.
I finally got around to finishing listen to this podcast.
Those Hitler jokes near the end were brilliant.
