Bowser claims ‘Best video game villain’ crown

Category: Nintendo News

bowserLast week, the Telegraph revealed its list of the “Top 10 Video Game Villains” and two Nintendo nasties made the cut.

The first of these was Zelda villain and wielder of the Triforce of Power, Ganondorf, who came in at sixth place and was described by the newspaper as “a terrifying embodiment of evil”.

The top spot on the list was nabbed by Mario’s ever-present nemesis, Bowser, who came in first for his constant abductions of Princess Peach, along with his ongoing plans for “universal domination”.

This is a bold move, after both of Nintendo’s major competitors, Sony and Microsoft have announced price cuts this year as they struggle to measure up to the the phenomenal success of both the Nintendo Wii and the DS/DSi handheld range.

Nintendo’s not expecting to lose out by maintaining its current prices, as Kaigler also stated that the Big-N’s sales forecasts currently “remain unchanged”.
