Nintendo’s latest financial results for the period April-June 2010 have revealed that the company has lost money. Nintendo recorded a net loss of 25.2 billion yen, with net sales down 25.6% to 188.6 billion yen.

Ubisoft has revealed a new um… game called Battle Tag. The only thing about this game though, is that it isn’t entirely a video game. Essentially it’s just laser tag, with four guns, four sensor packs and four people running around the real world shooting at each other. Nintendo’s current generation of hardware can now be called their most successful ever. According to Nintendo’s latest financial statements the DS sold 27.11m units in the fiscal year ended 31st March 2010, making for an overall total of 128.89m. This finally puts it well ahead of the Gameboys lifetime sales, which reached 118.69m.
