A Twitter user known as Superannuation spotted four URL registrations logged by Activision last week and posted the links on his account.

Observers of the domain names believe GoldenEye Reloaded could be a HD re-release of last year’s GoldenEye 007 and even wilder guesses are pointing at a new Bond game or true remake of the classic Nintendo 64 title for the 3DS.

During an investor call back in May, Activision announced they would be releasing a new Bond game at some point throughout 2011.

This was followed by the 007 logo being flashed during Sony’s E3 slideshow presentation and more rumours of Raven Software being the developer of the new Bond game.

STL Ocarina, the maker of the ocarina included in EB’s pre-order bundle, is selling the New 12 Hole Plastic Zelda Tenor Ocarina in C Major for US$27.99.

The plastic ocarina is described as being specifically made for Zelda fans and promises durability and a beautiful tone. In terms of size, it is 6.5 inches and 16.5 cm long with a pitch of A4 to F6 including sharps and flats. Anyone who orders this ocarina will also receive a free instruction booklet and neck strap.

So, there you have it. If you missed out on EB’s Ocarina Edition due to the Australian release date of OoT3D being broken then head over to the STL website now and order the Zelda Tenor Ocarina.

The first game, currently being referred to as Kirby Wii, is basically the Kirby equivalent of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Four players will be able to take part in the adventure and drop in and out of the game as often as they like. Besides Kirby, players can select from King Dedede, Meta Knight and Waddle.

The DS game will be a completely solo affair. Based on the news released so far, Mass Attack is about some evil guy with a magical cane who appears out of nowhere and splits Kirby into 10 individual blobs. This basically leaves players with the task of helping Kirby recover his original form by fighting enemies and finding treasure chests.

Mass Attack is due out in September and Kirby Wii will available sometime before the end of the year. It’s unlikely that Australians will get the Wii version of Kirby in 2011 though as we only just got Epic Yarn at the start of it.

Unfortunately not much more than that has so far been unveiled. We’ll have to wait until E3 in June for that. As is always the case when it comes to Nintendo consoles, there has been a barrel-load of rumours and speculation as to what the consoles main features could be ranging from the likely to the laughable. Perhaps the most persistant rumour is that the controller will contain a 6.2 inch touch screen.

Allegedly the console will be capable of running games in HD, but there are conflicting reports regarding the power of the console. Beyond this, nothing else is known of the console. This means we have until E3 kicks off on June 7 to put on our tin-foil hats and speculate our little hearts away.

Old school Nintendo fans will be able to return to their roots by picking up an awesome looking Classic Controller modelled on the original Super NES controller and designed for Virtual Console games on Wii.

In regards to Zelda, a new trailer was shown for Skyward Sword. In amongst the standard things to expect for a Zelda title, the new trailer showed a few puzzle elements aided by the Wii MotionPlus, such as key turning, tightrope walking and bamboo chopping (hmmm… where have we seen that before?). Towards the end of the trailer a new character is introduced, similar to the character shown in that first piece of concept art. At the time it was speculated that this character was actually the personification of the Master Sword and this trailer seems to almost confirm it. The character even gets it’s own icon on the HUD, suggesting that it will play the role of hand-holder for this instalment.

The final bit of Zelda news is that Nintendo have said that they will be doing ’something’ for the 25th Anniversary of Zelda. What that something is, is a mystery. Considering that Mario’s 25th only resulted in a release of some old games in a new box, we probably shouldn’t get too excited, although Shigeru Miyamoto himself is said to be working on it, so who knows?

“How is that possibly relevant to Nintendo?” I hear you ask. Well as it happens, shamantis (or Nick Pittsinger if you read his twitter info) is the latest member to join Pokémon Reorchestrated–a project dedicated to creating lush new electronic versions of classic Pokémon game music.

Inspired by a similar project, Zelda Reorchestrated, the team are currently working on music from the first generation of Pokemon titles, but have ambitious plans to cover as much music from the iconic monster-battling series as possible.
