2K Games have announced that the classic swashbuckling sea-faring adventure, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, will be coming to the Wii. Originally developed by Firaxis Games, the Wii version is being developed by 2K China. Wii Price Drop

Nintendo has announced a price drop for the Nintendo Wii. From 29 April, the Wii will be available for only SRP $AU299.95* ($NZ399.95 SRP). This is the first price drop for the Wii we have seen in Australia and New Zealand. Previously the Wii was SRP $AU399.95 ($NZ499.95). Both the white Wii and the recently released black Wii will be available.

This should come as good news for anyone out there that is yet to purchase a Wii or those who need a little extra convincing.

Conduit 2 Announced

SEGA have confirmed that a sequel to it’s Wii exclusive FPS, The Conduit, is on the way. Developed by High Voltage Software, Conduit 2 is set to build on the original game, delivering some of the Wii’s best first person alien blasting action. Conduit 2 will feature a single player campaign, online multiplayer plus all-new co-op modes.
