Aussie Club Nintendo site revealed!
Although hidden away from its final address, the Australian Club Nintendo website has gone live (and it looks pretty awesome).
With Mario Kart releasing in Oz tomorrow, the website, for now, consists of one page with a registration form, where you’ll need your code from Mario Kart Wii and eventually Wii Fit to join the club. Other games will also have their own codes soon.
Club Nintendo lets you choose “premium items” from the Stars Catalogue in exchange for Stars awarded to you through product registration. Web address + more info inside.
Nintendo says in its disclaimer on the page,
We are working hard to complete our website, which will provide you with valuable information on Nintendo products and will also allow you to become a member of the new Nintendo loyalty program.
The completion of the website will bring the Stars Catalogue too. The launch date has not been given, but we hope the entire Nintendo Australia site benefits from this upgrade. (it looks like it will)
As we are more than likely going to have a Club Nintendo like the other Europe Clubs, it would be nice to know what we can actually get from Australia’s very own Club Nintendo. Well, after a bit of research on the UK Club, we have found that these are some of the things (other than Wii Points) that we can exchange our saved Stars from game purchases:

Things like, Club Nintendo t-shirts, Club Nintendo caps, keyrings , notepads, game stands, Wii bags, and also things like wallpapers.
Judging from the UK site, many things are sold out, so to get the good things it comes down to first in best dressed.
More official info as it comes.

I have been in contact with Nintendo Australia and Jason Hill, a writer for The Age newspaper and our stars catalogue will be a lot different to what is pictured on this article. The stars catalogue will be unique but we are still waiting for Nintendo Australia to release the stars catalogue.
