Miyamoto releases more news at E3
Miyamoto’s high hopes for Wii Music
Miyamoto during a recent interview at E3 this week has revealed that he hopes Wii Music will create more musicians, and perhaps, even become an educational tool within elementary music schools.
It is known at this point in time, that Wii Music’s main focus is on music-making. There are no objectives to complete or content to unlock. An official date is yet to be announced for the upcoming title, Wii Music.
Nintendo’s focus no longer ‘core’ at E3
In other news, Miyamoto has stated:‘E3 is no longer an event where Nintendo will be showcasing games aimed at the core audience.’
Instead, at future E3 Media & Business Summit events, Nintendo will be focused on the broader audience.
Whilst this is disappointing news to hear, Miyamoto himself, made the following statement as to why Nintendo would not be ‘core’ orientated at future E3:‘E3 isn’t the right place to showcase classic franchises and fan-favorites.’
Mr Miyamoto finished by confirming that Nintendo will continue to produce ‘core’ titles, and long time fans of Nintendo should not worry.
