Even though it’s been out a while now, Ultimate Nintendo’s 4th issue is just as applicable now as it was when it was released. In this issue, you’ll find a world exclusive preview of Dead Rising for Wii, and a hands-on feature with the upcoming Lego Batman, not to mention the wealth of other previews. In the reviews department you will find Lego Indiana Jones, Alone in the Dark, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, Guitar Hero: On Tour and many more.
There is also a super-cool Brawl guide, which details all the characters in the form of playables, assist trophies and stickers, and gives you a rundown on their history.
UN Issue 4 is on sale at all newstands now.
This month, Ultimate Nintendo (UN from now on) is not only packed to the very last page with Nintendo gaming goodness, but has even undergone a fresh new design, all in the name of fun, as after all, that’s what games are about. (well, that, and blowing stuff up)
Dedicated to joining the likes of the greatest games mags in Australia, UN has 6 goals:
1. To be 100% independent.
2. To stay committed to the Nintendo Wii
3. To feature more DS stuff than any other mag
4. To give readers honest opinions
5. To go in-depth with no fluff, PR hype, or external influence
6. To always be written by enthusiastic and knowledgeable writers
Sounds like a pretty awesome set of goals to me. Find out what’s in this month’s issue inside!

So when we went to Activision, we got to play a game we were very excited about - Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for a couple of years, you would have heard of and most likely played the Lego Star Wars games released over the last few years, and this is a continuation of that series, however in the Indiana Jones universe.
If you’ve played the Lego Star Wars games, this game will be very familiar, however rather than just swap Star Wars for Indiana Jones, they’ve actually improved on and added more to the games. The first thing you’ll notice is that there’s more focus on puzzle solving than the previous games. There are also traps ahoy so you need to keep your eyes open especially wide this time around, and there’s also quite a lot of focus on exploration. While the manipulation of Lego blocks will be familiar, now characters also have items that can be picked up and discarded which are also needed to solve puzzles. Shovels are needed to dig up items and steer boats, wrenches can fix machinery, guns can be acquired off enemies, and last, but not least, you can even get a rocket launcher. This was just in the space of the first two levels of the game, so we imagine there are many more items to come. More inside.

We’re also getting Big Brain Academy for Wii, and even EA Playground. And the best part is, there’s so much more to come. (full boxarts inside)
